Healthy relationships are dynamic and continually growing.
I offer three types of couples counseling that focus on your immediate, as well as your longterm goals. Our first step is identifying what type of counseling you want. Couples Counseling, Decision-Making Counseling & Divorce or Separation Counseling:
Couples Counseling – You are intending to stay together. Together we will identify what is a healthy relationship, learning the tools for communication, ways for managing conflict and to move through difficult times while still staying connected.
Decision-Making Counseling – Our work together will focus on gaining clarity about whether you want to stay or separate.
Divorce or Separation Counseling – Our work will focus on helping you navigate this transition with intention and care. If you have children together we will also work to create an atmosphere of respect and cooperation to support your ability to co-parent your children.
MY APPROACH
I use a combination of evidence-based approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method, to help you better understand your relationship and create meaningful, lasting change.
This work is not just about talking—it’s about learning how to:
- Communicate differently
- Respond instead of react
- Stay connected, even during difficult moments
