All couples experience highs and lows in couple life. What ultimately keeps a relationship strong is your ability to stay connected even when the times get tough.
Do you want:
To increase your ability to manage and resolve conflict?
Improved communication?
Increased connection?
Help navigating big decisions or transitions?
My approach to relationship and marriage counseling:
I use a combination of two researched-based approaches; Emotionally Focused Therapy and The Gottman Method. I am also a certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and can offer you parenting support in conjunction with couples counseling.
Some of the benefits couples have experienced are:
Improved intimacy
Reducing conflict and understanding the importance of repair work
Learning new ways to communicate and build connection
Creating and cultivating appreciation for each other and your relationship
Couples Counseling, Decision-Making Counseling & Divorce or Separation Counseling:
I offer three types of couples counseling that focus on your immediate, as well as your longterm goals. Our first step is identifying what type of counseling you want.

Healthy relationships are dynamic and continually growing.
Couples Counseling – You are intending to stay together. Together we will identify what is a healthy relationship, learning the tools for communication, ways for managing conflict and to move through difficult times while still staying connected.
Decision-Making Counseling – Our work together will focus on becoming clear if you want to remain in your relationship.
Divorce or Separation Counseling – Our work will focus on helping you end your relationship with dignity and respect. If you have children together we will also work to create an atmosphere of respect and cooperation to support your ability to co-parent your children.
